Stained Glass Info & Care Tips

All stained glass sales are FINAL and non-refundable. Every piece is carefully packed using recycled items and shipped via USPS First Class Mail and is insured for the full value of the piece. Seller is not responsible for how package is handled while in transit, if the piece arrives broken or damaged, the buyer will have to file a claim with the USPS (this is why pieces are shipped insured for their value). 

CARE TIPS

-Please handle with outmost care. Your piece of stained glass is fragile and should be displayed in a place where it cannot be easily bumped into and should be kept indoors.

-Please handle minimally as stained glass contains lead in the solder. If a white chalky substance appreast at the joints of the solder lines, this is normal. Do not use any chemical agents please use dish soap and a soft brush or It can be wiped off with baby oil and a microfiber cloth. You can also go a step further and use carnauba car wax to restore shine & add protection to slow oxidization (a natural process of lead), then buff it up with a microfiber cloth. 

-For pieces larger than 8x8 I recommend  using a nail or a hook to hang these. The weight of these pieces over time will detach any suction cups or command hooks. Give your hardware the 'tug test' before hanging your art! And if you do use a suction cut / command hooks, check them often since sunlight will make dhesives & plastic brittle.

-Avoid contact with anything abrasive, as it will scuff and damage pieces that have black/copper patina. This also applies to pieces with iridescent glass gems.

CUSTOM ORDERS

Some items are available for custom orders. A 25% deposit is required up front and shipping will be charged at that time. There will be a drop-down on the listing if this option is available, if you do NOT see a drop-down for it, then this item is NOT availalbe for replication.

The buyer will then specify their color palatte choice in the SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO THE SELLER box at the time of checkout. I will then reach out to you via email to start a dialogue regarding the color choices for your piece. Fulfillment time frame for custom orders is 5-10 business days depending upon what kind of back-log I have at the time, this will also be communicated at the time we speak about your vision.
